Follow me on Instagram!Always fascinated by Frank Gehry’s sculptural architecture 😍When you're crossing a suspension bridge that is 230 feet above a river (that's as tall as four full-sized T-Rex's stacked on top of each other, as a sign nearby pointed out), you can't help but wonder about the integrity of the steel that's holding you up. Eek! 🙏🤞The Capilano Suspension Bridge 💚time 🌲Most of our trip to the Northwest was full of bright blue sunny skies, but these moody clouds on view from Olympic Sculpture Park are what I was craving as a break from our bright Texas summer. 😎This sculpture that’s framing the Space Needle, The Eagle, in Seattle’s Olympic Park reminded me of home and our Alexander Calder sculpture, The Crab 🦀.More rain than snow, melting glaciers, debris flows and a higher incidence of flooding are some of the changes Mount Rainer National Park has experienced in recent years. Countless giant rocks around this river are a consequence of the receding glaciers and rain that carries rocks and sediment down the mountain.Turns out that after you’ve spent a year tearing down and then rebuilding your house, all you really want to do is get far, far away from said house.
