Pressing pause on the blog

Why have there been no posts since the end of May, you may wonder?  Because of the arrival of a little package that places a big demand on my time:

Since I’ll be staying in Dubai this summer, I probably won’t be doing much since I have a delicate little newborn and it’s unbearably hot outside.  In between daydreaming about our trip last summer (Summer Exodus, and Not in a Dubai State of Mind), I’ll probably write a few posts that will take a look back at things over the last year or so that I never had a chance to write about.

Wish me luck on surviving my first Dubai summer!  More soon…
